Follow these steps to point your WIX domain to your portfolio in UXfolio:
- Log in to your WIX account.
- Go to the Domains page.
- Click the Show More icon next to the relevant domain.
- Select Manage DNS Records.
Adding the 1st A record:
- Click + Add Record in the A (Host) section.
- Click Got it in the pop-up message.
- Leave the Host Name field blank.
- Click the Value field and enter 159.89.215.151.
- Click Save.
- Click Save Changes in the pop-up message.
Adding the 2nd A record:
- Click + Add Record in the A (Host) section.
- Click Got it in the pop-up message.
- Click the Host Name field and enter ‘www’.
- Click the Value field and enter 159.89.215.151.
- Click Save.
- Click Save Changes in the pop-up message.
Now, head over to your UXfolio account:
- Open the Portfolio editor.
- Click Settings in the menu bar.
- Choose Own Domain.
- Click the Use your own domain here link at the bottom of the modal.
- Enter your WIX domain (mydomain.com) without the ‘www’.
- Hit Connect.
It could take anywhere between 24-72 hours for the changes to take effect.
