Step one: In your Squarespace account
- Open DNS settings for the domain you want to point to UXfolio.
- Scroll down to Custom Records.
- In the Record field of a blank row, select A from the drop-down.
- In the Host field, enter '@'.
- In the Data field, enter 67.207.77.53
- Click Add to save the record to your settings.
Step two: Add a second A record in your Squarespace account
- Open DNS settings for the domain you want to point to UXfolio.
- Scroll down to Custom Records.
- In the Record field of a blank row, select A from the drop-down.
- In the Host field, enter 'www'.
- In the Data field, enter 67.207.77.53
- Click Add to save the record to your settings.
Step three: Enter your Own Domain in the UXfolio:
- Open the Portfolio editor.
- Click Settings in the menu bar of your portfolio.
- Choose Own Domain & URL.
- Click Use a domain you own.
- Enter your Own Domain without the ‘www’.
- Hit Connect.
These changes can take anywhere between 24 and 72 hours to start working properly.
